SpaceX SN7 Test Tank Massive Rupture

06.23.2020 After testing SN7's test tank to failure a catastrophic rupture occurred from underneath the tank. Waiting of Elon Musk's offical word.

Great idea. Test to failure and the primary failure points remain for inspection. SpaceX is probably building computational models of every component and validating/training the models on the data.

Loosing the fear to fail and then learning volumes from every fail is why every other aerospace company on the planet is in a distant second place right now to SpaceX.

I think spot walking around the debris was the best part. It didn't take long for SpaceX to find a use for their newest toy!

Being that it is made of 304 stainless I'm a little surprised it didn't test higher than 7.6 bar/110psi. It didn't look like the tank itself failed but maybe a hatch or connection.
