This fight scene here is smartly executed. Magneto is one of my favorite villains and he's just badass here. Emma was almost close to subdue him but not quite since I think his time and years of dealing with Charles Xavier gave him the advantage.

I read somewhere that Shadowcat can air-walk using her powers to stand on the individual molecules in the air, but I’m guessing this version of her hasn’t developed those skills yet. Would’ve definitely been useful here.

Holy shit Iceman actually went toe to toe with Magneto and managed to knock his helmet off.

I hate how people think Iceman is weak when in actuality he’s an Omega Level Mutant making him one of the most powerful beings on the planet. For example he’s so powerful that he can send Earth back into The Ice Age just by thinking about it if he really wanted to

You know, I’ve seen this scene dozens of times and I only just noticed how bad they clowned Cyclops here. His optic beams can easily rip through mountains and according to one comic panel “tear a small planet in half” yet Magneto stops them with a wall of regular steel.
