To answer the lady who does not understand Trump voters' line of thinking:

I am not American but I know that if you insult a significant portion of a population for not voting your candidate, you'll see them react with their votes. I also know that people are busy getting through the day to day, and Trump was able to deliver that message in his campaign. To vote for a woman because she is a woman is not only flawed but broken thinking.

Three people who wanted a female president just for being female. One who repeatedly said she was disappointed in America but couldn't give a reason. The overwhelming majority looking forward to see what he'll do.


Edit* To those saying the woman who couldn't give a reason said that Trump was low-class, that is not a reason. She was asked many times, and she kept trying to evade the question and looking for an escape before finally sputtering out a vague insult that means nothing. She was very obviously buying time and had no argument.

as a woman, I don't understand the thought of "she is better because she is a woman" logic, it sounds sexist ("he is better because he is a man", I am sure these women would say this is sexist )

I noticed many of the answers that had good impressions of Trump were based on his policy, but people who think Harris would have been better is because she's a woman. That alone should let everyone know why Harris is not the president nor should she ever be.

The difference between America and Japan is Japan is not continuously being invaded by nefarious foreign actors. If Japan was I'm sure the sentiment would be different.

Those school girls were based. Regarding the US-Japan alliance, I would expect Trump to push for a relationship more of equals, like the direction Abe was trying to go. I think the new generation fully understands that being a leader and being strong does not necessarily equate with being aggressive. Asia and the world will be safer and more prosperous with a strong US and a strong Japan working together.

I'm really happy to see people remember the strong bond that Trump and Shinzo Abe had.
The common thread I see the most among people who wanted Harris is that they either wanted "Anyone but Trump", or "I want to be part of electing the first female President"

This is a bad basis for electing a leader of a country. You need a strong leader who makes the welfare of the country their top priority.
