It is almost comical that when presented with some vast site that has thousands of objects, each of which required enormous technical skill and/or human labor to create, Modern Archaeologists only allow two possibilities: Temples or Burial rituals. _They simply cannot tolerate any possible explanation that allows for people of the past to have worked out some advanced technology or societal organization on a level anywise comparable to "modern" times, for instance, our recent industrial revolution._ This is despite the indisputable evidence of Genius-level inventions of Antiquity, such as the Antikythera clockwork mechanism, the so-called *Aeiolipile Steam Engine crafted by Hero of Alexandria, * The "Baghdad Battery" - ceramic jars with carbon rods wrapped in copper sheeting, with bitumen insulation, showing traces of acetic residue from wine which are thought to have served as electric batteries for electro-plating thousands of years past, or ancient ground and polished quartz magnifying lenses dating to thousands of years B.C.E.

Noah's Ark would most likely been disassembled and the wood reused for shelter. Thinking we can find Noah's Ark after all this time is pretty foolish. We can't even find Flight 370!

There are pockets of water IN the earth as well. One near Japan was recently discovered using ground penetrating sonar and is estimated to be in volume of being capable of containing the entire Atlantic ocean. The Bible also mentions something similar in Genesis 7:11. Stating that the "fountains of the great deep" also opened during that event. Most of the water from the flood came not from above, but from below.

I don't think tectonic plates caused the mountain to grow. I do believe the plot shifts have much to play into this. I can see water being flung to a given area on earth till it settled back down.

Why didn’t Noah kill off mosquitos when there was only two of them ?

Don't know how much water there is but, ... The gates of heaven opened (massive canopy of water)
The great fountains of the deep erupted (There are massive amounts of water within earths crust) volcanism super heated earths ground water thus contributing to a rise in atmospheric moisture.

There is actually alot more water, it's just been redistributed back into earth's topography and crust. Also, some is of course in the atmosphere.

I'm pretty sure those jar things were used for giants. Giants once existed before. We humans are like little ants to them.

That structure is most definitely the ark. Read Noahs Ark by David Novak, who did extensive research on this ancient structure. They never mention his work because it is so thorough that it casts away all doubt that this is the remnant of the ark. One other thing they mention is that it is not actually located 15000 ft up on Mt. Aarrat. It is on a another smaller slope and at sometime in the past slid downward to its present location. The Bible never says it is on Mt. Aarrat. It says it came to rest upon the mountains [plural] of Aarrat.

The only thing more inane than the story of Noah’s Ark is the 2014 motion picture, ‘Noah, ’ starting Russell Crowe. That was god awful.

It is written, He flooded the WHOLE earth. He knows what the whole is. Alas, we do not. Much love and Grace be to you. Thanks people. Please keep up the good work. Peace.

Regarding the “Noah’s Ark” segment and the goal of finding it.

Firstly, for the moment, accept the notion that the “Flood Story”, is true as told in the Bible.

I would think that the flood (as described), would have completely destroyed all settlements, washed away any helpful items, utterly saturated the soil and decimated the forests.

It would make sense to me that after the flood, Noah and his family would disassemble the Ark, as it would entirely consist of materials essential for their existence. We know this because it had just been used as their “Lifeboat” exactly for their existence during the flood.

The wood of the Ark would have been exactly what they would have needed to build some form of containment for “Domesticated Animals”, defence from “Predators”, temporary shelter, fire...

You get the idea.

So thinking that you would find wood from the Ark...Petrified or not, seems like it would be the least likely or completely unimaginable thing that someone would ever find or hope to find for that matter.

Just one guy’s point of view of just one issue.

Cheers.

In relation to giant stones....a couple of things. 1....they found giant boulders and carved a jar like shape out of them, or they knew of a way to remake/mold stone.

The story of Noah's Ark is one of the most beautiful, take care of your family and respect the animals, and you will have paradise right here on earth.

Or how about all the trees that are found in cliff faces standing upright....they didn’t stand there for millions of years while the sediment layers built up around them. And how about whales sea shells and other sea critter remains on the tops of the tallest mountains around the world. Geology also points straight at a flood. A GIANT one

I have to say no on the death worm. As with many creatures in different cultures all over the world, they were invented by parents and grandparents to keep children from wandering off too far from camp. Death worms, fairies that live in wells who lure children too close then snatch them into the water, all designed for the safety of children.
For me, it was a giant bull frog that lived in the river behind my grandmother's house. If I got too close to the river by myself, then the bull frog might eat me.

First of all, it's "Mountains of Ararat" (plural). Doesn't have to be the particular one with that name.
Second, Noah was in the ark for about a year. The 150 days was the flood "prevailing" over the earth - i.e. winning, holding first place, etc.
After the 150 days, the waters of the flood began to evaporate. Took a long time. Raven went out after the TENTH month. Then two more doves, and all three releases took another month.

If you time lapse the decaying effect of a multi level wood structure, it's hilly compelling that this is what you might expect to see
