Nice video which I wished I had watched earlier today as Im sure i recharged my car incorrectly and watching your video it all makes sense. I note however at the end you didnt top up with refridgerant that would also clear any of the sealer from the low pressure entry port. Thanks again.

I'm sure it says you have to put r134a gas in straight after using super seal, otherwise it can block your port, plus you'll need more gas to top it up to around 35 psi

the r134a gas already comes with the seal leak or I have to add it after putting the seal leak

Hi Sandy

Instruction 7 says: Holding the can upright, turn the valve handle on the recharge hose clockwise all the way in. You will hear refrigerant moving from the vehicle's A/C into the can. Does this mean I have to put refrigerant into the system first? There isn't anything in the system because it's leaked out. Hence why I'm using super seal. I can't find any description on this so any advice would be appreciated

Hi would this work, for a leak at the pump, I know this as had it tested, there was a leak one of the valves, not the condenser one as this is new, the other one at the top north part of the system, I had it re - gassed, which lasted 3 weeks

Yes, it worked for my car. The refrigerant was taking about a month to leak out. It's been 5 months and all is well.

Do you put the seal in first before the R134? Great video. Thanks

Used this today. The plastic cap that goes on the low pressure port does not lock onto place...causing pressure loss in the system. I had to hold it down with my hand. Don't know if it will work but it took in most of the can but not all. Topped up the pressure with new refrigerant and ran for 15 minutes. Time will tell but not impressed with the applicator at all.

So do you need to have some pressure in your AC system for the leak seal to go in? Just that I don’t, so my compressor doesn’t switch on, could I add just enough R134a for my compressor to engage then add the leak seal then top up with the remaining R134a?

I bought this stuff about a week ago and plan to put it in my nissan. I have no idea if it has a leak or not, I can only assume as I bought the car the AC was cold but not super cold, then after 1 week of owning it, it wasn't cold at all. So the cars in the garage now getting AC topped up, that mechanic doesn't have UV dye in his AC gas so im thinking to use this. The last step is a bit worrying though, the step you didn't show, it says "14. To prevent STP super seal from sealing the service port, immediately flush the charging port with STP EZ chill or STP auto freeze recharge product" thats all good and well, but that cost So they're saying you need to spend £60 to has some gas in the AC, use super seal costing £20 and then use EZ CHILL can that costs £60 = £140. How is this a cheap fix? the numbers just don't add up considering a regas at a good garage costs £40.
