Juste pour clarifier une chose. Lorsque Macron dit qu'il n'y a pas une culture française, il ne fait aucunement référence aux diverses cultures régionales. Dans son délire mondialiste, il fait bien allusion à une culture "ouverte au monde" qui s'est construite en accueillant des "talents de l'étranger partout d'Europe et d'ailleurs". Il ajoute même qu'il n'a jamais vu d'art français. Si on suit son délire, il n'y aurait aucune culture nulle part, juste une culture mondiale, humaine. Prochaine étape une culture intergalactique peut-être ?

this is bizarre because i am brazilian and french culture influenced even my city, são paulo had the era of the "architecture of paris", where the city center was entirely renovated inspired by paris (it was in the beginning of the 20th century).

but são paulo is technically Italian-Portuguese in culture.

As a Russian I can say that French culture influenced Russian strongly, some our classical books are written with a lot of french language, i.e. “Voyna I Mir” (War and Peace) contains many dialogues, letters, etc. Russian aristocracy back in the day knew french better then Russian, a lot of french Italians and other countries architects were brought to build our buildings especially Saint Petersburg. French cuisine was very popular among the rich.
The only thing is that after Bolsheviks revolution our culture changed a lot, aristocrats lost the war and were robbed and killed. Their manors were destroyed and overall they were erased from the face of “Motherland”. That’s how french culture with fleeing aristocracy left Russia.

Le plus triste c’est pas qu’il dit « y a pas de culture française ».... non le plus triste c’est que Thomas Jefferson a dit: « chaque homme à 2 cultures: la sienne et celle de la France ».
