These aren’t Easter eggs, this is elite world building

I like the lore around Hama being the ‘last water bender in the southern water tribe’ that the Fire Nation were searching for when they executed Kya. Kya didn’t know they weren’t looking for Katara & Yon Rha was too incompetent to check the age or even confirm that the person he executed was a water bender.

Soka's boomerang is made of a piece of metal, probably from the only metal ship they had nearby

I wish Katara would have mentioned that Kanna was her grandmother when they talked about their heritage. I think that would have added to the story in a really cool way. Maybe Hama would have been willing stop what she was doing so she could meet Kanna again.

Hama was a great waterbender, not only she was able to develop a new skill while limited in her element, she was the last one to be captured and the only one to escape.

I feel like either Hama and/or Katara could've taken healing to a whole new level with bloodbending had it not been invented with malicious intent, essentially making themselves kinda immortal.

I love how Hama's water bending reflect the moonlight making it looks magical.

I felt for Hama, no justice, just left to harbour the anger and she was so misunderstood without any care for what she had to go through

Ok, I realised the war ship connection the first time I saw the show as a kid but today my mind was blown realising that’s Kanna

It’s also used as a secret base for a large group of the southern water tribe during the comics!

Just love the forethought and attention to details of the show.

I would like to know what the Fire Nation makes their flags out of. Because the flag on the trapped ship is not only still there decades later, it's still in the same condition after being hit with arctic winds for those decades.
