What irritates me somewhat about Dead Eye is that you take your gun out right at the start of it. I'd be much happier if activating Dead Eye just made you reach for your gun, not actually draw it, and just sight targets with your eyes alone, only pulling out your gun once you release. It makes no sense to pull out your gun before dead-eyeing.
