Finally working on the stance that I've pictured for this truck, and let me tell you, she looks damn good! Very happy with the work that myself, my dad, and my girlfriend put into getting this truck the way she is now! Couldn't do it without them!

Haters will say I ruined it, but I don't care. ;)

I don’t see why y’all saying “why lower a 4x4 " he said he wanted a race truck and what does 4x4 do in a race truck? Better launch!! And more traction! So yea i love the idea of a lowered 4x4 especially since its going to be a race truck uff 😍 its gonna be awesome

I think my favorite part is just to get to read the comments. Lol I have never understood why 4X4 = lift only. I get that most buy a 4X4 to have to go off-road and not be as likely to be stranded if they do so, but that is not everybody. I bought a 4X4 because the winters here can get bad and living on a road with steep hills and curvy roads, I need the option to use it to get home sometimes. On the other hand, living on a curvy road sucks with stock height or lifted and with back problems, it is a lot nicer to get in and out of the truck now that it's lowered and it handles much better. Lastly, when I add more power, the option to have four wheel drive to launch is so nice to have. Sorry for the rant. I'm with you bud. Looks great and ignore the negativity. I bought a 4X4 for extra traction in my daily commute and race applications and don't need any extra ground clearance. If sending power to all four wheels required lifting, you would need to lift your Subaru too just because. Lol

Congrats man, welcome to the dark side.. I'm a bit of a rarity here in SC with a lowered truck but love it.

O_o Lowered like it. Now for a good set of rims and rubber to go under her. Looking sharp bud. Keep it up.

Yeah I wouldn’t lower a 4x4, now a 2wd sure but doing it on a 4x4 is a waste in my opinion.

Ive always loved lowered trucks now if only companies would bring back tiny trucks like the old Subaru Baja and the 80s Japanese trucks those things were fucking awesome

Did you have a problem with your rear wheels hitting the wheel wells at 6” drop over big bumps ?

Had any trouble with those front CV angles? That is my biggest worry lowering my 4wd.

Did you use stock shakles on the back . Or just hung leaf springs to new hangers ??

Does the bottom leaf spring come in contact with the trac-bars any?

Shane did you ever have any vibration during hard acceleration? I did a 2/5 drop on my 2017 Denali 6.2 1500 4x4 and have a vibration under hard acceleration from 4000 rpm and above. I have an LT4 supercharger with tune and other mods with a conservative 520 whp. I am making this a street truck. It’s got to be a pinion angle issue. Curious if the Calvert traction bars would lock the pinion alignment in place under hard accelerations? The kit is a matrax lowering kit made for Denali with magnaride. Uses drop springs with factory control arms and flip kit. Thanks
