I'm so excited to get my 9 Pro! I ordered it during the MBG keynote. It's a bummer that they arent shipping the Pro until September 4th

I'm bummed that Pixel 9 Pro is going to come to Australia so late, around the end of October. It sucks.

This Pixel conversation was interesting to me as it really just confirmed my decision to stay with Samsung phones...I've had every Galaxy phone for the last 8 years and almost every feature you mentioned "coming to Android" or to Pixel has been in my Galaxy phone for a while ...screen recording timer counter with a persistent pause and stop button right at the top (I use this all the time), desktop mode, etc. Samsung even had circle to search before Pixels did. And AI recording summaries has been on my Galaxy S24 since it launched in early 2024. The Galaxy has call screening, and a great camera too. And I can think of at least 4 other features my Galaxy has that I use all the time that other Android phones, including Pixel, still don't have. The Galaxy even gets timely updates, so that former Pixel advantage is not really applicable anymore. Seems Pixel studio or Reimagine are the only things my Galaxy can't do, but that's just a gimmick and even some of that is publicly available in Google's AI Test Kitchen online. Pixel 9 seems great but still not seeing any reason to switch away from Samsung.
