This is similar to how we play dominoes in south africa but we don't display the tiles so complicated like that, and we don't call it "dominoes ", we call it "doms" for short.

Aaaand the score goal and number of starting dominoes (aka Bones) varies:
2 players: 7 bones, 100 pts
3-8 players: 5 bones, 250 pts

Watching the adults play I was able to figure out how to play. But because back in the day kids and grown ups were separated. In other words. Kids were in a room with kids and adults where in the kitchen and living room playing dominoes I didn't actually start playing until I was a teenager.
