I’m lazy and bought a usb adapter for a ssd and it works pretty good

You should always connect all 4 screws. Vibration over time will cause your ssd to fail prematurely

Dont screw your SSD in and instead use stick on velcro to secure it to your internal case. 👍

Hi I’ve bought pc already m.2 SSD installed with windows 10 on it but it doesn’t show my own SSD that’s attached with sata cable ? It shows in disk management but as Disk 0 but it doesn’t show as unallocated or hidden, might be mine SSD is windows 11, any guide or help ?

sadly traditional ssd easy heated up in short term. for nvme ssd much better. always under 45c on heavy load. idle 32c-25c or normal surf under 38c.

I have 4 ports that are labeled hdd1 - 4 on my mini ATX motherboard... Are those all that's needed to get your sata SSD connected to just like this? Other than the steps after.

i was gonna get that motherboard for my build. ended up getting an asus which im kicking myself for because they sent me the wrong one and since i got my cpu and motherboard as a bundle i have to send both back. lol. Oh well, ill just get a better mb and a ryzen 7 7800x3d instead of the 7700x.
