Here’s a little tip if you don’t know much about computers, if you need to install ram, a fan, or even an ssd. Just do that yourself, it’s very easy and not worth spending the money to get it installed

You actually can install a sata drive with the power on if you want. They've been designed to be "hot swappable", a feature which is probably a lot more important in servers, but which has been inherited by the desktop versions of sata drives.

That being said, turning off the power is probably still a better idea, and a good standard practice, as some components definitely require the power to be off to be safely uninstalled or installed.

Yep, we're going to let the SSD just dangle in that case with an old motherboard that has a parallel port and PS/2 ports.

I was looking for a tutorial and i have this exactly same SSD you have lol. The bad thing is whenever i try to add second ssd, hdd or even a second ram my pc starts working but there is no image on monitor. I checked if my psu is enough and it seems it's more than enough. Anorher really weird thing is that my pc works with 1 dx30 ddr4 3000mhz ram on slot 1 and i bought a new ram, dx30 ddr4 3200 same brand and same model but only difference is mhz. after i put it on slot 2 my pc works but no image comes to monitor (even bios). I tried my already working ram on slot 2 and it resulted the same problem. I thought slot 2 was broken so i tried my new ram on slot 1 but it didn't worked too ! like what the hell ? and now ssd/hdd causes same problem too and i'm pretty sure that my psu is strong enough. i have asus a320m-f motherboard, r5 3500x cpu, rx580 8gb gpu with 8gb 3000mhz ram and my psu is 650watt.

what happens if i have ssd and hdd, my system files are in ssd, i removed ssd and turned on the system? im asking this because my old laptop is damaged so i need to take the ssd to my new lap, but also in future if i repair old laptop i need to use it as a secondary lap without inserting the ssd. any thoughts?

Sir, Mene Apne desktop me laptop ki 2.5" HDD lagai uske baad jab mene system boot kiya toh sabse pehle scanning drive ki loding chalti hai . or system on hone ke baad HDD proper show ho rahi hai or work bhi kar rahi hai. Lekin problem ye hai ki Jab bhi computer ko ON karta hu toh bar bar Scaning Disk ki loading chalti hai. Please koi solution bataiye 🙏
