What happens if you have H.pylori and if this infection goes on for a long time? This H.pylori bacteria produces inflammation of the stomach or what we call as gastritis and over a period of time there can be atrophy or the glands gets lost and you develop intestinal metaplasia, this can lead to ulcer diseases, Vitamin B12, iron deficiency anaemias and gastric cancers and even gastric lymphoma, but mind you, majority of the patients do not get any symptoms with H. pylori infections and they live with it and die with it without having any problem. Only a minority develop problems and we as doctors identify in which patients the symptoms or the disease caused by H.pylori and then we treat them.

I believe I have them since age 9 and I'm almost 40. People who has the correct substance to treat pylori are very greedy that we must live with pylori and there are no correct medication for it so doctors throw together a cocktail.

What happens if you took 2 weeks antibiotics and undergoes a urea breath test and still has it? Does that mean it became cancerous?

I have been suffering with indigestion, gas, constipation and weight loss problem since 18 months doctor did a test and it was found to be H.pylori infection and antral gastritis

So doctor tablets given for the first 10 days and then and then antibiotics were given for another 10 days for a total of 20 days. 1 month iam feeling well no indigestion no motion problem, After one month same problem started again indigestion constipation.i went to the doctor again he told me that h.pylori was negative with biopsy but my problem were same, Breath test also normal.
But symptoms is there.

Can help me on this any one iam suffering very serious 🙏

Hi I have h pylori they got me on pylori capsule 3 times 4 times a day and also a omeprazole 2 times a day I’m having trouble with my iron being very low tbere sending me to do a iron infusion in 3 days is it safer to do iron infusion while having this and being on medication
