Kirchhoff's First & Second Laws | A Level Physics

This video is about the Kirchhoff's Laws: Kirchhoff's First law (for currents) and Kirchhoff's Second Law (for the voltages and e.m.f.s). These are laws for electrical circuits, relating the currents' relationships to each other, et cetera.

In this video, we solve problems with circuits, where we try to determine the currents running through each junction, or the voltages (potential differences) in each parts.

These also contain currents that run in opposite directions to each other, which may sometimes make calculations a little tricky, but not too much, if enough details are noticed :)
This video is suitable for A Level Physics, JEE Physics, IB Physics, or other physics examinations of a similar level (Year 12 or Year 13).

Thank you for watching.

Hi, I wanted to ask that in the last question, won't the current of E2 be split as well and enter the junction with 4 ohm and 8 ohm resistors?
