You have forgotten the point of the last video. The solutions to the problems in this video are only correct if the cell has zero internal resistance. The correct expansion of Kirchhoffs's second law is sum(EMF) = lost volts + terminal voltage where the terminal voltage is what is left for the remaining components of the circuit e.g. bulb and resistor. We cannot solve the problem you posed unless you tell us there is zero internal resistance or provide more information so we can calculate the lost volts.
