I used the 3rd method but the second one blew my mind !

I like method #3 because that's how I did it. I miscounted a few of them because I was doing it in my head & lost track, but it was whole lot easier to find the prime factorization of its component digits than starting with their product, per method #1. I'd never seen method 2 before, and am trying to get my head around it.

Fun fact: 10! seconds is exactly 42 days. This video should have been posted on May 25th. If you know where your towel is, you know.

The third method was the initial idea I had for finding a, b, c, and d.
Using the floor function was my second ranked, and the first my thurd.

I use a slight variant on the second method. Having divided 10 by 2 to get 5, I divide 5 by 2 again and round down to get 2. This is the same result as dividing 10 by 4, just using smaller numbers. Repeat once more to get 1, which is the same as 10/8 rounded down.

It doesn't make much difference when starting with 10! but it would be significantly faster if you were doing 5677! for example.

I suspect that approaching this problem using binary numbers is more than I want to deal with on a Friday. (:

Floor rounds toward –∞, ciel rounds toward +∞, mod cuts toward –∞, div rounds toward zero, rem cuts toward zero

I used 3rd method - efficient and easy to follow. 1st method is long-winded. 2nd method is brilliant - now I'm trying to understand why it works!

I like method 2 for larger numbers, but for 10!, it was easy enough to do method 3 in my head.

It’s not a number theory problem; it is simple prime factoring.

I liked the 3rd method
It was so easy

Second method
10/2=5 5/2=2 2/2=1 5+2+1 =8 = a
10/3=3 3/3=1 3+1=4 = b

10/5=2 2 = c
10/7=1 1 = d

the 3d one is how i did it in my mind in just a few seconds, lol

Why breck down that big number and not the 10! It is allready mostly factored

Sir in frst method we will multiply 10!.... I think very lengthy calculation

1st method ok, 3rd method standard. 2nd method: Witchcraft

Frst method not accepted.. Lengthy calculation... 2nd is best
