The Brutal 92% Decline Of Jelly

Jelly was one of the fastest growing YouTubers throughout the 2010s, being best friends with Kwebbelkop and Slogo, but recently his growth has slowed dramatically. Why? Did he become out of touch with his older subscribers? Did he become too distracted by external possessions? Or was his decline a pure result of the Robust Trio (Jelly, Kwebbelkop & Slogo) eventually coming to an end?

This video will explore each of these questions, as we look into,

The Brutal Decline Of Jelly

Thank you guys for watching, like and sub if you enjoyed, SunnyV2

The biggest problem with YT channels that try to act all family friendly is that their audience grows out of it and they move on to something else. If creators want to keep themselves relevant they have to change up their content and that way they will grow alongside with the audience and they will continue watching. Sadly Jelly is an example of someone who is doing the same content for a long time, doesn't even bother to change up his style, and of course never tries to grow with his audience.

The issue with these gaming channels are that these channels mostly attract younger audience, who obviously with time grows up and matures from these kind of contents.

The fact that he was able to gain such a large viewer count on games like gta V and minecraft after their peaks is still impressive in my opinion.

Probably the most potent example of simply "growing up". I really appreciated this upload more than most "downfall" videos because it clearly was more of a growing older (and having to take on other responsibilities besides goofing off on a video stream) and finding new avenues to work and play within. You only have one life...live it!

I used to watch these guys when I was young, but I never knew why their videos stopped being as frequent or as good bc I moved on as many others did. It is somewhat cathartic to actually know what happened to the creators of the content I watched as a child. Thank you sunny

He's the first youtuber I've ever seen. Sad to see him go down like this

There really isn't an earth-shattering reason why many of the channels in your series decline. The answer is simple: no-one stays on top forever. Audiences change and move on to other things as their interests change.

I think the family friendly demonetizations were the real start of their decline. Although they kept growing, it did start kicking out part of their audience that enjoyed the freak outs and the uncensored content.

Just like his friends, their audience grows up and moves on. He sticks to being family friendly while other YTers have a more mature content

He was, no joke, the first Youtuber I subscribed to and who got me into watching Youtube videos. Just his content in 2016-2019 was amazing and you could see how happy he was, and that made me happy too.

It makes me glad the true titanic trios of Youtube like Pewdiepie, Jacksepticeye and Markiplier are doing well,
sure they don't collab often but they are on their healthy tracks maintaining good friendship behind the scenes.

This guy breaks down the story so well, genuinely one of the best commentary youtubers. Big props man

As someone who has been a fan of this trio, it hurts to see this, at the same time people have to realize their audience is getting older and have to try new things, I hate the fact it went this way

Edit: They're back together :D

It’s so strange to me how huge these youtubers were yet I’ve no idea they even existed.

Sunny weaves these videos together at such a perfect pace that even if im clueless to what is happening i will watch it to the end

I remember all the good times Jelly had with the trio. After that things changed for the worst and now he’s on the verge on being forgotten and all the laughs, epic moments, big milestones just gone😢

Markiplier despite the fact that he did fell off since he gets max average of 5 million per video out of 34 million subs, still is a significantly successful figure, probably because of the fact that he changes up his content every once in a while (Channel Based Lore videos, Gameplay with the two best boys Bob and Wade, Trending topics but not too saturated), the man actually knows how to keep the community he built up and entertained for years. So why can't these guys follow in the same footsteps? Probably complacency to the algorithm or maybe they're too comfortable.

SunnyV is the only man who can make me watch an entire documentary of someone that I completely know nothing about.

I love this channel, gives me the same anxiety that gives me when watching a movie I already watched and the part of the conflict is about to start, but gives me a lot of insight of the Do's and Don'ts for my eventual content, right now I rather wait till I'm in the position to actually offer something consistent and entertaining than jump in and out with Ctrl C + Ctrl V content

That’s what’s kinda great about your style of content is that you would never have to worry about ending like a lot of these guys because it is just your voice and not so much your face plastered everywhere your style of content has an EXTREME level of longevity and we love it
