Ultimate Adventure Machine? 25,000Km Review of my KTM 890 Rally - Is it Worth the Hype?

The mighty 890 ticked over the 25K milestone a ride (or two) ago, but I never noticed until this week.

I know that most viewers subscribe to my Youtube channel - so it'll surprise no one who has seen any of my video's that there are few things I enjoy more than riding this bike, so here in this video I go over what it's like for the things that I run on mine that make a difference long term. Like a look into my air filtration and the gearing - and the economy from those choices.

I also explain what I do suspension wise for a ride like 2 weeks ago with an extra 25 to 30 Kg's on the bike....(that's for the Sundown video series that's coming out, currently)...we take maybe an extra 5 to 8Kg's on a longer ride like to the Flinders Ranges.

We've all changed things on our bikes to suit us and how we use them, so in a way they're all unique. I'm not saying mine's done the right way for anyone else, just for me.

A great machine, thanks for sharing. I'm interested in your skateboard wheel 'steg peg' addition. I'm hoping to do a similar thing with my 850gs (as Steg Pegs are not made for my model) by removing the passenger pegs and securing the wheel to the forward existing bolt hole. How do you secure yours to the bike? Did you use a spacer or tubing inside the wheel itself? The inner diameter of the wheel I have is quite a lot wider than the stock passenger peg bolt, I'm a bit stuck for options at present. Any info is appreciated. Cheers.
