Important tip, alter boy will make the vocal track starts to phase, in ableton you can fix that with a utility set to either left or right. Use utility after alterboy vst.

Think this is a good tip for slower genre tracks like House etc or anything that maybe doesn’t have much in it.
I wouldn’t put it into a really busy track though, or 175bpm Hardcore banger

I have been obsessed with this technique recently where I don't feel there's quite enough room for an extra instrument but feel it could do with more ambience, it doesn't just have to be the vocals it could be from your melody line, the other day sampled and created an endless loop of a string note.
