Just launch an acid mushroom at them, instantly kills them, I found this on accident on a creative world.

Wow, nice work, I didn’t realize you could kill them. I gave up long ago because I thought they’d just teleport away when their health got too low. I had to get what satisfaction I could from ramming them with my Seamoth. It was actually fun to sneak close to their patrol, wait until they appeared, and then race for them at full speed while their back was to me. No damage a repair tool couldn’t fix.

1. Why was a warper in the shallows?
2. Are warpers really that weak?

I started whacking away at them with my thermoblade, it does nothing. Every time I use the stasis rifle, I manage to give four chops with the thermoblade before it warps away, then I go find it nearby (probably the same one, short distance away), do the same thing again, and it doesn't die.

I think only spawned warpers can be killed, it’s weird but that’s just a thing

Pretty sure mine had like 1000 health or something.. i did the same thing with a thermo blade and it kept teleporting out of stasis.

This isn't true though. Warpers cannot be killed, only those spawned by the console can be killed

Came here for the secondhand catharsis. Leviathans I can respect as animals that are just trying to survive. Warpers are just jerks.

Huh, i thought they weren't killable. Guess i didn't try very hard. Although i did use the cyclops laser cannon mod on one and even that didn't appear to kill it, and that thing one-shots sea dragons.

They don’t die in my game, they just warp away and keep coming back. I haven’t been able to kill anything with the stasis rifle and a thermoblade, everything I’ve read online suggests I should be able to.

I was Throwing Hands with a Reaper in my Prawn Suit then a sneaky Oceanic Goblin called a Warper teleported me out of it. I was pissed. xD

I feel bad for the warper. Just a casual fish chillin then some alien shoves a computer down their throat and they have no control :(
