Peel & Stick Tile Installation - Without Grout

I put Armstrong peel & stick tiles in our kitchen around 20 years ago. Installed it right on top of existing vinyl floor. After all these years, three sons, four grandsons, dogs, cats, spills, etc....still looks great.
A couple years ago I tried the same thing in our bathrooms but used Home Depot's TrafficMaster tiles. They started discoloring after a few days. They look absolutely horrible.
The difference in quality is massive.

I actually laid the tile out real nice actually. I started from the middle to the edges. Now if I ever need to put some tile again I'll know. I also moped the whole floor and made sure there wasn't any pebbles or dust before laying it. Stuck real good.

An easy and good looking floor solution. I put right on top of old linoleum that was crumbling and they stuck great !

Thanks for this video. I am going to rip up the old vinyl/linoleum in my laundry room. There is a small spot where the old linoleum cut from moving a dryer but not sure what the brand of the old stuff is. I was going to glue down that part and install the new over but I feel confident starting fresh. The kind I bought is water resistant and called icy gray. I will update after install. :-)

I used carpet tape on the edges to make them sturdy.

The adhesive on the product sucks, you need to get your own adhesive and spreadit on the wood for a good job

Gettijg a quote to do this. Yhe guy said he would use a tool yo smooth out the previous vinyl floor so the tiles will adhere better

I get a crackling sound when I walk on it. Will that go away? What’s causing it? The floor is clean and dry. I placed it over existing glue on vinyl tile.

Can these be use on ceramic tile floor, I really need to know because I'm tire of looking at my ugly outdated yellowish floor

Can I place peel &stick tiles over vinyl sheet? Or I remove it first under is not floor….

Its almost impossible to but vinyl tiles together perfectly with no gaps. They are pretty easy to cut though

The tile that I want to know about is NOT peel an stick or tile with grout. The, I have is the tile you use floor glue to put on. No space between tile.

I cleaned the floor then used heat gun to activate the glue to stick harder
