Good video Osariemen. I like how you summarized the school system, it is detailed enough. Adding to to what you said, the age of your child also determines how much you get for the child benefit. The older the child, the less money you receive. You dont pay money for textbooks, the school provides it to your child. Obviously, it your job as a parent to teach your child to maintain the textbook. Then if they misplace it, you have to pay for it. You only buy the supplies your child needs, like pen, paper etc. The school gives you a list before the start of every grade. When looking for a kindergarten, make sure you know if they are half day or full day. This is where the after school program comes in. And if your work schedule doesnt match with the regular school schedule. Anyways just do your research.

Do children under age 4 need previous school records to be admitted into a kindergarten school?

Thank you for the video. I'd like to know, how things work for a child whose parents migrated under closed work permit? Do they also enjoy the child's benefits by the government even as non PR holders? Secondly concerning the documents u listed that are required for submission to enroll a child, how does that favour a child whose parents are non PR holders ( that is parents with Temporary work permit status?)
