SilencerCo Shotgun Suppressor on a 12ga Mossberg 500 pump shotgun

This is the 6" version of the new SilencerCo "Salvo" shotgun suppressor. It's a little bit louder than the full 12" version but I was still OK without ear pro. If I was shooting more rounds throughout a day, such as bird hunting, trap/skeet/sporting clays, I would probably wear ear pro, or see if a lighter load would reduce the volume.

The video would have had value if the cameras mic was positioned to block the wind which covered a large spectrum of the sound we can hear.

Pretty sure its the camera audio muffling the report. that and the fact that he's in a completely flat wide open space with nothing to bounce the sound back. There's other videos with the exact same suppressors and guns and no where near as quiet sounding as that

I thought that looked like the Utah mtn range I grew up by.  Now I just need a silencer for my Ithica 12gauge.
