Impressive. He shows no signs of being out of breath unlike the others. He appears as if he had just taken a leisurely stroll. Observing the ease with which he chats with the other person at the finish line right after completing the race is truly remarkable. He doesn't even seem to be gasping for air.

Would love to see the other athletes for once helping Jakob with pacing to a WR. Maybe Cheryiot and Naguose could take him all the way to 300m to go and we will see a WR - I think these are the only 2 athletes in the world who could live with the pace to 1200m. El Gerouge had world class athletes pacing him all the way to the last 300m when he set the record. Come guys, every season, every race Jakob pulls you all through to PBs and NRs, time you stepped up and did him a favour.

Without mentioning 3:26 of el guerrouj elguerrouj runned 3:26:12 with lagat 3:26:45. A lot of work and pushing pace is needed to break the workd record el guerrouj run under 2:27 3 or 4 times. That can show you how legend he was . Jakob is working hard so let s see what the future has for him.
