So at first I wanted to finish the job with ONLY Narcissa, but I really don't know what happend, so gorgerous Harry Lloyd became a perfect part of it.

We don't know much about Narcissa's history, but I think she often had to put up with Black's family things. So it was with Lucius too. When she found out about parents wish to unite two old pureblood families, she, probably, had no choice? No, that's why she surrendered.
Their relationship is not a model of pure and selfless love. Their marriage is a fortress built over the years, based on respect, mutual understanding and the duties they have to perform for their family.
This isn't love, maybe. But it is strong.

I know a lot of people run with the assumption that Lucius and Narcissa were essentially in a forced arranged marriage but idk i always felt like there was more to it than that. Once Andromeda basically ran off with a mudblood their parents and other Black family members (Walburga) probably put a lot of pressure on Narcissa to find an appropriate match... i think though Narcissa always had a crush on Lucius and as a Malfoy he was seen as a decent match. However instead of Narcissa being blind to Lucius' faults i think she saw him for who he truly was all too clearly. Growing up with Bellatrix for a sister, who i'm positive was a little psycho even before Voldemort got his hands on her and surrounded by equally psychotic family members, it's pretty hard to imagine that Lucius managed to hide any part of him from her. As for Lucius she was a Black and a beautiful woman and that was enough for him. They definitely had the kind of marriage where their love grew like Ned and Catelyn Stark's but i think even without family traditions and all the other stuff they'd probably have still ended up in love if not married.
