Did You Know This About Narcissa Malfoy In Harry Potter…

She was probably the only one born to the Black family who had not been named after a star or a constellation. In fact, she probably got her name from the mythological Narcissus, which is a good match for both her appearance and her elitist attitude. She was also the only Black girl with completely blond hair, making her even more special. However, the stylists decided in the movies she would have partly black hair in order to express her connection to the Black family and her older sister Bellatrix, while her blond locks would distinguish her as a Malfoy.

Bellatrix married for purity of her race, Andromeda married for love but Narcissa got both.

Actually, the thing about her name is that she, her husband, and her son all have names that are Latin for the opposite of them. Narcissa is narcicist, when she's always putting others first. Lucius means light, and he's very dark spirited. Whereas Draco means dragon, who are known for bravery and determination, when in reality, he's actually a coward.

actually her name comes from the ancient Greek word for dandelion so that harry can be saved by three motherly love that have flower names: lily, petunia and narcissa

Actually she was named for flower. If you noticed all the mothers in harry potter are named after flower. Petunia, Lily, Molly. She was named so bc she was best mother for her son.

The craziest thing that I need to constantly remind myself of is that in the books at least the Malfoys were a genuinely loving family

No she wasn't. Walburga, Luctretia, Lycoris, Marius, Dorea, Callidora, Cedrella, Charis, Phineas, Belvina, Phineas Nigellus, Elladora, Iola, Misapinoa, Phoebe, Alexia Walkin, Licorus, Eduardus Limette, and Hesper were all born with the surname Black and aren't named after stars.
