Nashville officials share new details on investigation into deadly school shooting | full video

Authorities released new details on their investigation into Monday's deadly school shooting in Nashville. The city's police chief, John Drake, said the assailant had legally bought seven firearms from five stores before the attack. The shooter used three of those weapons in the rampage that killed six people, Drake told reporters on Tuesday.

Citizen and official should learn of and in what reason to purchase that many weapons for ..and in that length of times during her schooling with that school up to date.. are those school personnel still the same people or are new members or teacher?

I cannot imagine the fear it would induce seeing some crazy loon waving a weapon around like that. there is no way this was not calculated. crazy people dont know thier crqzy and they dont do thiskinda thing. this seemed like she was some extremist. She obviously knew what she was doing. Im so glad the police went in and ended it before it got worse.if you see the bodycam footage they cleared rooms so fast it was impressive. well done to the officers involved and law enforcement. all that can be said is this is tragic.

My heart goes out to the families of the victims, these school shootings are terrible. I am glad that the shooter is now dead, and I am sad that 6 people died because of the shooter.

As I watch and listen to this video....to a news reporter....I hope to never again hear the question "where were the kids hiding?" Why would you ever ask that question???? For the next time this would happen, hopefully that it never does, gives these killers the knowing as to where the kids are!!!! And as the chief of police I'd hope they never NEVER answer the question as to were the students are hiding!!! This chief has done a great job with questioning. That question should never be revealed!!! PLEASE to ALL NEWS REPORTERS, DO NOT ASK THAT QUESTION!!!!
