I like the simplicity of the Tj. And it looks better in my opinion.

The best Jeep is your own Jeep, keep up the good work!

I think the TJ looks best with a soft top. The JK looks better as a hardtop

TJ be the next classic. The clean ones are already fetching more money than they were few years ago.

Me and my son built a tj. The tj is a much better looking jeep. Just beef up the suspension.

Ended up buying a 2013 JK, but man i really wanted a TJ, hard to find a clean one. Yours is by far the NICEST i have ever seen, so cool man.

Love my tj 4.0L , wouldn't consider a new one, just the sound of an old jeep is awesome.

Owned 5 wranglers (3 TJs, 2 JKs). The motors I had were 2.5L, 4.0L x2, 3.8L, and I’m currently on the 3.6L. Love the 3.6L! Loved the 4.0s, but in a heavier Jeep like the JK or JL, it would have sucked as some believe the 3.8L sucks. I do disagree as it wasn’t the best, but it wheeled ok and I think they’re really reliable. Anyway, nice discussion!

Through the years I had many cj, yj and Tj . I just bought a 2012 two door jk 3.6 engine and 285 horse power ! This jk is by far the best Jeep I ever had . I love the looks of it too because is almost a foot longer and 5 inch wider than other jeeps I owned!

I had a 12 rubicon 4 door. Good Jeep, but the 3.6 liter was crap. Broke valve springs 2 different times in a 2 month period. Jeep finally replaced the head. 2 months later the head gasket failed. Sold that Jeep and bought a much more reliable 2002 TJ with the 4.0. Much happier....

absolutely love the Tj, super simple to work on and inexpensive to buy parts, JK is a better out of the box off road daily driver tho

They are both....nice!
Currently have a 04 TJ, but really miss my old 1978 Renagade CJ7 w/ 304 v8.
It was my best Jeep....I was young and it was fun!

Very interesting video and I love both Jeeps but my heart is with the TJ. Thanks for another great video Kyle.

Both look great. I’m a bit biased towards the TJ though. The 4.0L engine itself is a huge deal over the 3.8. Plus, very easy and spacious to work on the 4.0L. Also, proven to be a very resilient and reliable engine. I own a 2005 LJ “Rubihara” and completely stock. I’m not a fan of lifts and modifications to a vehicle. Granted, I don’t rock crawl or any of that extreme stuff. Just love the look of the LJ’s. 4 door jeeps just not for me. They look cool but not my cup of tea.

The T.J has this Old School raw feel to it, but feels modern enough too! It's the Golden Era for the T.J right now
