The best part about the new JL/JLU line is now all the aftermarket parts for the JK line will get cheaper.

Never was a Jeep fan until I started watching your channel.First, your team puts out a lot of content, a lot!Second, you all keep your sense of humor and enjoy what you are doing.Third.you are always coming up with interesting tests and comparisons that translate well for consumers.good to see Tommy back too!

My son had a 2019 JL. It spent more time at the Jeep dealer being fixed than it did in his garage. Check engine lights for Electrical & 4 wheel drive problems. After a 12 week stay at the dealers, waiting on parts, or so they said. He sold the Jeep and got a Tundra PU.

I was replacing a 97 TJ. I decided to go with a preowned 2015 JK that was in dealer new condition inside and out. It was the Freedom version with leather seats and Alpine sound system. I wanted a Sahara but the Freedom was close enough to satisfy me.

As far as I am concerned the JK has all the technology I would ever need. The JL has more technology and thus more things that can go wrong or break. I’ve had my JK for a couple of years and I’m totally satisfied with it.

This whole video is just awesome. I love that the Land Rover driver credited TFL for his purchase.

As always, wonderful videos. Love the interplay between Roman and Tommy. So natural, not forced and very informative. I must be honest, I am super impressed with the Jeep brand, it does what it says it can do, and more!

Personally, I think the JK looks much more rough and tumble. Much more badass. Love the simplicity of the design. JL has too many edges and looks more like an SUV than an offroader.

That being said the JL seems to be a much more capable vehicle from the factory, and much more comfortable and maybe higher quality too. Ill stick to my JK for the sake of character and sentiment, but I have to admit jeep did a pretty damn job continuing the Wrangler name.

Good run, the factory lockers are great, but I love the cloth upholstery in Tommy's JK and so on and so forth, ...as long as they're Jeeps, it's the drive that counts, and it looks like fun no matter what.
By the way Roman, ...you weren't the only one who 'reacted' when the Land Rover tipped and swayed there, ...except I let out with a word that I shouldn't show here.

Roman helping the Rover dudes wheeling is the best part .

I started out with a 2003 TJ. I drove that as a daily driver till i traded that for a 2010 JK Sport. After driving these for 15 years as a daily driver i decided to change things up. I am doing more travel, but i still wanted some off road capabilities, so i traded in the JK for a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I love the comfort of the new Cherokee and the ride going down the interstate. I do miss my JK but I think the Cherokee will do just fine for me. By the way, I love your videos on the Jeeps and your Diff loc series. Thanks for everything you've done for JEEP.

I miss my JK. it was a 2010. No crazy mods on it, but it had 33’s and a couple tops to play with. Total slug on the highway, but it was awesome taking the doors off in the summer. I had too much of a commute to justify it. Can’t wait to pickup a Wrangler in the future ! Great review TFL

My thoughts? Get a used stock JK Rubicon that's been driven by some pavement princess for a couple of years. You'll pay new JK sport pricing for something way better. There are very few Rubicon drivers out there that wish they got a Sahara or a Sport, but there are tons of Sahara/Sport drivers out there that wish they got a Rubicon. Especially once they hit a real trail.

Great video of father and son wheelin'. Although it's strange to hear Tommy calling his Dad by his first name. But for the sake of the video, I get it. Both of these 2 door Wranglers look good. But the JK looks awesome. I only have a limited slip diff and after seeing this, I have to save up for at least a rear locker and soon.

Great job gentleman. Tommy's Jk is quite similar to mine. Same color and many of the same type upgrades. Enjoying your channel.

Love ur video’s, and really appreciate this one. Tommy my fav is ur 20 second mod break down. Wife and I are both JK owners, mine is heavily modded and wife is now looking at the JL’s....they are both great Jeeps. Think the JL did a great job of evolving the Jeep without compromising what Jeep stands for (is pricey though). Appreciate that you are comparing them off road, and know that is the reason I follow you guys!!! Thx again, keep the video’s coming!!!

I just bought a 2012 jk two door sport last week and I love it. My only complaint is with the factory soft top. It's a big PITA.

I'd love an Old vs New for the new ZR2 Colorado vs the S10 ZR2.
