When I was in high school, (1986-1990) (before they became popular) I used to collect rare Metallica albums (along with other bands like Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, etc). I have (packed away somewhere) picture discs of kill em all, RTlL, MOP…. Double vinyl albums of those albums as well. Different colored vinyl albums of Creeping Death and Jump in the Fire Ep’s (red, blue, green, gold, white, picture discs, etc), 7 inch and 12 inch 45s of ONE, 12 inch 45 of Harvester of Sorrow, … also have dozens of bootleg recordings of concerts (including Cliffs last show) on LP and cassette. I’ve got that comic book that they put out in, i think 1989 or so. The vhs video of ONE…. That’s just what I can remember (without opening up and digging through the collection). I was obsessed with collecting their stuff back in the 80s … before their fame and fortune took over.
