For the Newbie if you are actually trading in the crypto space and you don't have a sound mentor. Then you are certainly going to get liquidated in 90% of your trades. Yeah that's sad truth. I remember when i just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 i ended up selling it because i have lost alot trading all by myself without a guide. Got back into crypto early in 2024 with $20k and I'm up with $232k in a short period of time

I lost over $70k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. If I sell my house now, I get 140-150k tax free. If I rent it out, I owe capital gains on that, and any future increases. If I sell, there are potential realtor fees and other fees for selling or replacing it with a different rental property. So 20k loss to sell, but tax free gains or keep it, no selling fees, but owe 45k in capital gains in the future on my current equity.
