I sit and watch these clips, and all I can do is thank GOD! I thank God I'm not in a bunch of debt, the debt I do have has a bright light at the end, less than 27K 🙌🏾 I am so thankful, and I will be attacking it!🎉🎉🎉

She had cancer which is not a “controllable” and can be as expensive as it gets. Add in the divorce and it’s understandable why she’s where she is.

Serf Class Americam here, if I sell my home I may never be able to own a home again...is what's on my mind these days.

Whenever you make a decision out of desperation, you’ll likely end up trying to desperately get out of the next decision.

Generally speaking, it's a good time to sell if you're in a hot area and purchasing in a less hot one, or if you're downsizing and just want to pocket the cash from your unneeded space, but this is always true no matter the economy.

maybe sell it to get rid of memories but not debt, you still have to live somewhere.

Some episodes I don’t understand, why not ask what car she bought (year/model), why not address bulk of her debt which she calls consumer is medical and she could come up with payment plan to address but attack the CC first.
Whole call was just weird

Dave name a car with 150, 000 miles that you’d pay more than $12, 000 for!

If you can't buy your next house cash, then the answer is NO! Interest rates are insane right now

On the car it sounds like she is looking at the dealer price not the private person sale.

I feel for her. Divorce and Cancer are devastating events and can ruin you financially but most importantly, emotionally and physically.
Both can cause tremendous trauma and CPTSD. I get it. Best wishes to her.

Successful people don't become that way overnight. most people see at a glance-wealth, a great career, purpose-is the result of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life..

Pre-nups are sounding more and more of a good thing after hearing her story.

A $700 payment on a car worth $12, 000 and she owes $42, 000? Something is not right!!

I know this is not a Health show, but could you maybe incorporate into a show, the importance of good health and taking care of yourself. I see all time people who have great wealth, but the are in terrible health. And a lot of times, that wealth can deteriorate due to high health cost. Just a thought.

As far as the car situation, depending on the car, it is absolutely possible to lose equity like that. Dave is flat wrong by thinking that's impossible. I wasn't even shocked to hear that. Especially with that milage.

Very possible the car she has is either a poorly-rated but expensive EV or hybrid, that it’s no longer under warranty, and that its battery is about to go.

I don't get it. Her take home is $11, 500 per month. Her house payment and car together are only $2, 407+$712 = $3, 119 per month. So, that leaves $8, 400 per month to pay off her $200K consumer debt. That seems like enough to do that and then some. What am I missing?

You can definitely do that to a car. Given her income I’d bet she works in remote sales and is constantly driving. The car is probably only a couple years old with massive mileage on it, and it’s an expensive luxury brand that depreciates quickly. She probably overpaid some, but you can definitely get underwater in sales like that.
