Love how more and more people are warming up to guardians, truly underrated among other superhero games

The locations in Control will always be among the best and unique level designs i’ve ever seen. I will never forget the Ashtray Maze and the Astral Plane.

Control - Ashtray Maze
I kept stopping for a second or two to say, “Am I really playing this, or is this an amazing dream?”
Simply perfect.

Sekiro - The Fountainhead Palace was beyond a visual masterpiece. I remember just standing at the entrance edge and looking at the whole area for at least 5 minutes in awe.

Dark Souls 3 - Irithyll of the Boreal Valley. Like wow! Seriously so beautiful.

The entirety of Toussaint in The Witcher 3, the colors are incredible and it’s absolutely stunning, the very first time I played the Blood and Wine DLC I just stood there and looked around

The alien worlds in 2021's Guardians of The Galaxy were just amazing and what I expected from a new Mass Effect game.

Guardians of the Galaxy IS criminally underrated.
What a great game.

I know it aged quite a bit, but for me the most incredible and the fondest memory of awe toward game visuals I had was with Skyrim when I first reached Blackreach. I still think that it looks great today, but in 2011, this was the peak of gaming and an unforgettable marvel. I remember spending hours looking for red nirnroot, killing dwemer machines and falmer/chaurus.

The last fight in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. Chasing the god from platform to platform, the world warping around you, with the soundtrack and the desperate fight at the end, truly memorable.

Man Guardians was such a great game, genuine return to form like Spider-Man and Midnight Suns as just a classic full superhero game. So mad we may never get a sequel, love the wacky and surprisingly down to earth moments in that game.

Columbia in BioShock Infinite.
The first time I played it, I was shocked that it was even possible when it came out.

The brutalism like architecture of CONTROL is so misterious and ominous yet fascinating.

Mohgwyn Palace in Elden Ring is amazing, also the link between the Eternal cities that you can see them from other locations establishes such coherent details

Xen in Black Mesa. Went in blind, didnt want to spoil it for myself. Honestly, it was one of the rare moments in my gaming history where my breath was taken away.

Nokstella and Nokron from Elden Ring are amazing areas as well. Getting out of the winding ant caves or underground rivers just to see a starry sky was my jaw dropping moment. Its really a shame that there wasn't more to explore even though there is a lot there, just wanted more of an amazing area. Elden Ring is an amazing game and looks just as good.

I always absolutely loved the Citadel in Mass Effect. It looked amazing and I just wish I could see more of it. Would love a ME spinoff game just set on the citadel. Perfect for a telltale style game or something...
