How I trained my dogs to use a bell to communicate with me

My dogs are a step away from telepathy and probably kicking me out of my own apartment. Here's how I made mistakes by teaching them how to ring a bell to use a litter box and generally drive me crazy.

My dog is a 13 year old pittie named Willow, she has a squeaky toy by the back door that she hits to go out. Her “litter box” is a 3 foot by 3 foot boxed area with shavings. She also likes to train new people by squeaking over and over until they realize she is doing it on purpose so they have to stand up.

We taught our dogs to ring a bell to go outside to the bathroom as well. At the beginning of the video Ripley rang the bell and they both were in separate parts of the house and came running to see who was ringing the bell to go outside😂
