I tend to realize that things could get bad from very simple things in movies. I hadn't seen the old movies in upwards of ten years, so I had little to no memory of them, but the moment the Goblin broke through Peter's web, my mind made a bunch of different connections at once:

- Those webs broke several power lines/towers earlier in the movie without snapping
- Those webs clogged Falcon's wings in Civil War
- The Goblin just ripped his hand free like the web was tissue paper
- Captain America couldn't do that.
- Consensus: OH NO.


Later, when the Goblin just eats Peter's attacks and cackles like a madman:

Considering the fact that Tom is a massive Spider-Man fan, this fight sequence must’ve been so much fun to film.

I have never seen Spider-Man get rocked so hard in a film before. Everytime I see Spidey getting the crap beaten out him, Willem is involved.
