I’ve had a similar case with the deafening crashing sound. The house I’ve grown up in for 21 years used to be fairly haunted. We would occasionally see a black figure, which looked like a man with a top hat. Some other family members and friends have had their run ins with this figure. But, over the years as we did more renovations to the house, the paranormal activity became less and less frequent.
The very last paranormal encounter I had was by far the scariest, and most bizarre. My friend and I were having a sleepover in my basement. We’re both knocked out sleeping, when all of a sudden the stereo in my basement is BLASTING white noise. We both instantly wake up in a panic, it’s pitch black and I fall over and look at my friend. He’s looking at me screaming, and at the same time I’m also screaming as loud as I can. When I’m telling you it was so loud that I couldn’t even hear MYSELF screaming and I was screaming as loud as I possibly could. After a gain my composure I try to turn the stereo off, but it won’t turn off, panicking, eventually ripping the plug out of the outlet and it’s silent.
Next morning, my family heard absolutely nothing, not a peep. My family are polar opposites of heavy sleepers, I can wake them up when they’re dead asleep by just taking a piss at night. Remind you, we were both screaming and it was so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves. Absolutely unexplainable, the horror I felt for those 30 seconds, feeling my vocal cords shake but no scream. The only way I can describe it is if the white noise was literally coming from inside of my head. It was deafening, and absolutely horrifying. I personally haven’t experienced anymore paranormal activity after that which was about 5 or 6 years ago. I still live in the house today.

The most unbelievable part of this story is the super quick and efficient call to customer service, only being on hold for 2 minutes and actually getting an immediate resolution to the problem.
