Hello, I am from Afghanistan. I was surprised that finally a western said something good about Afghanistan. Thank you Mr. Ballen.

Somewhere giants are watching vids about how Grimstone Thunderbeard was attacked and killed by a mysterious war-party of dwarves.

Imagine training for YEARS to be in a special forces unit just to get speared to death by a giant

I am from Kandahar Afghanistan. I am glad you guys are talking about your experiences in Afghanistan. It's a beautiful place, full of secrets and mysteries that cannot be understood or grasp by any outsiders. There were many eerie reasons why tons of bombs were dropped over seemingly empty valleys, mountains, and plains.

Not many can gather the courage to dip deeper in search of truth.

I heard quite a few crazy stories when I was in Afghanistan. Stuff that cost me many hours of sleep when I was there and kept me up at night for many years after I came home. All heard from people I trust completely. If there's one place in the world that could be considered a safe haven for giants and other monsters, it is Afghanistan. Those mountains are beautiful, massive, inhospitable, and unsettling. The hills really do have eyes in Afghanistan.

I like this guy, I'm a veteran, and he seems like the most chill seal ever

As a retired Green Beret who has been watching your videos for the last month or so, I never knew you were a SEAL. Which means I will no longer be watching.... no just kidding you are very humble, especially for a SEAL. Your military speech and lingo is on point! I will be subscribing! Also thanks for using Special Operations and Special Forces correctly!

Legit one of the craziest most interesting stories I've ever heard. Totally believe it. Highly specialized unit lost a brother-they're not gonna make up such an outlandish story and diminish that loss

My family is from Afghanistan...recently, my mom told me a story of goat-man and confirmed that some of her villager friends had seen these giants and that they live deep in the mountains. Afghanistan has some of the most isolated and high mountains making human existence almost impossible. Needless to say, it is a hot spot for the unknown!

Makes you wonder how often stuff like this actually does occur and people just aren’t allowed to talk about it, and it is made top secret as well.

I honestly can’t see these guys lying about something like this, especially when their buddy was killed. I have to say I believe them.

I worked with a guy who served in Afghanistan who would tell a story he heard on his base. My colleagues would get him to tell old war stories. I remember his version as he explained about a squad being attacked by a very large feral man that smelled rotten with 6 fingers that lived in a cave that was killed and taken by the us military. We had no reason not to believe his story. Years later I saw this story come up and my mind was blown. I heard about this years ago before it was big news

I’ve been told that the training to become a Navy Seal is very near impossible. Most can’t take it. I’m amazed and I have the utmost respect for MrBallen for being a Navy Seal.#hero

I believe it, as a Marine I can’t imagine why anyone would make up a story like that where a teammate lost his life .

I flew the F-15C for Uncle Sugar for 12 years. After leaving the AF I went to Alaska to be a bush pilot. There are a lot of myths up there about a race of giants.
One time I was flying a King Air 200 into a very remote village in the mountains, up near the north slope. We were a medical flight, equipped with a medbed module flying in to pick up a teenaged girl who had attempted suicide by jumping off of the water tower.
The weather, as usual, was shit. The only way in was to fly the river valley at about 100 feet. 1/4 mile visibility and mountains on both sides going up to 10-12, 000 feet. Illegal and dicey, but...medivac flight. Nobody in the village had medical training except one young EMT-B. The girl would die if we didn't get her to a hospital.
I was focused on wingtip clearance and maintaining clear of the above cloud deck at about 150 feet, when my copilot yelled "Holy shit"!
Not what you want to hear in that situation. I glanced over at him, his eyes were huge. I looked along his sight line and saw a man, walking along the river bank. He was covered in skins, and had long dirty hair. He had to have been 12-15 feet tall...he was HUGE. Unfortunately we were moving along at about 200 mph and it was far too narrow to turn around, so I got a short look and he passed beneath us. I swear we made eye contact...and he was angry. Why, I have no idea.
I couldn't tell if he had red hair, it was dark and greasy looking. Otherwise it's a remarkable match.
None of the natives I told this story to were remotely surprised. They all knew about the giants- I heard several names for them, in native languages.

The girl survived, moved to Fairbanks, married, and had kids.

Petty Officer Ballen. I was with 3/8 in Northern Helmond Province. We were in those mountains in 2003-2005. Our locals used to have a ceremony praying for the dead men going up there. Speaking as an American Indian, Lakota from SD, I was warned to expect things that eyes would not explain.

Both of my parents are afghans, from Panjsher and Nooristan both just north of Kabul. They always spoke of the mountains, their beauty but also the stories of the mysterious people/creatures that filled the valleys they lived in, for ages! So intriguing. Thanks for sharing!

The way you speak of Afghanistan being beautiful is the exact feeling I had when I deployed to Iraq.
We were staying in a house right off the Euphrates River. The sun rises and sun sets were stunning. It literally baffled my mind to realize, this is a war zone.

I beleive that there's living things out there in the world that we don't even know about.

I've heard about the giant of kandalhar as a kid in the 1990s. It was a well-known story that it lived in the caves. The fact that they found it doesn't surprise me. The government probably took it's samples and kept it's sperm to make supernsoldiers. They probably checked it's ancestry, etc.
