How to Rename Video Clips in Shotcut (2024)

There are two ways to rename clips inside projects in Shotcut, where possible I suggest using method 2, which is renaming the Playlist item before using it in your project.

Method 1 works particularly well if you are not utilising the playlist or do not need to repeat clips into your project.
