Xi Jinping vows to promote Shenzhen as global trade hub during 40th anniversary visit

Chinese President Xi Jinping vowed to turn Shenzhen into an international trade and talent hub as he marked the 40th anniversary of the city becoming China’s first special economic zone. The Chinese leader also called for Shenzhen to take the lead in the Greater Bay Area, which aims to link Hong Kong, Macau and 9 other cities into a technology and finance hub.

Happy Birthday Shenzhen!!! The People’s Republic of China couldn’t have been the 2nd largest economy in the world of it weren’t for the establishment of Special Economic Zones like Shenzhen. It went from a small agricultural Guangdong town to being one of the largest cities in the world in only 40 years. It was the starting point of China’s upward growth. It is a city I have considered for visitation and possibly to move to. I admire the skyscrapers that fill the city, but also I have noticed there are urban villages where decades of immigrant life have came and went. And Huaqiangbei electronic market where locals sell there products to the consumer.
I congratulate the city at being 40 years and hope it’s new promotion as a global trading hub will surely bring it to a more globally recognised city.

I see many commenting on China's Social Credit Score as if its an alien communistic repression tool.

My response:
"Does your country have a credit score on which to borrow money? National record of your career and hospital entries? Criminal record? Perhaps you may drive, did you know there is a score before your license is invalid.

How about those whom are poor in many Western countries also receive social benefits, do they not too have a score to track their social status?"
