Be careful what you eat or drink between meals. Snacks are the least of healthy foods from all the food pyramid, something even recalled in the nutritional information of each of them. Here we show you the six most fattening snacks to eliminate them and collaborate with the scope or persistence of your ideal weight.

1. French fries.

The first is for the fries. So ask for your combo without them, as they have a high fat content, less healthy carbohydrates, and lots of salt. Industrial fries are four times more caloric than cooked in boiling water, as they have much less water. If you are a calorie counter, according to a study on the fries as snacks by Consumer Eroski in 2005, they provide between 530 and 600 calories per hundred grams, while the light is left on 470 calories; have between 30 percent and 43 percent fat (in the light, 20 percent) and also contain plenty of salt: between 0.6 percent and 2 percent in "normal" and 2.5 percent of salt in the light that, on average, are twice saltier than normal.

2. Cereal bars (granola).

These foods contain carbohydrates basically, bitter enemies of weight loss. The bars are very useful whole foods when doing sports, they offer a lot of energy in a small space, but they are nothing healthy. Many of them also have all kinds of nuts and sugar (up to 25-40 grams of sugar per 100 grams) that will make you fat in no time.

3. Toasted nuts.

The process of roasting nuts ends with the most healthy nutrients present in them. The most dangerous are peanuts with honey and salt, containing 548 calories per 100 grams. The alternative is clear: unroasted nuts are healthy snacks in small amounts because it contains beneficial fatty acids for our body.

3. Dressings (olive oil).

Olive oil, like other oils, provides nine calories per gram, whether raw or cooked, so you should moderate its consumption if overweight. A tablespoon (10 grams) of oil (olive, sunflower, corn) provides 90 kilocalories. Careful when dressing salads. The secret is in the quantity.

4. Microwave Popcorn.

If you cook it in a pot, may be less fattening, however, cooking them in the microwave increases the chances to gain extra pounds. According to a study comparing the nutritional values of eight different brands of popcorn, one hundred grams of these contribute about 500 calories and its fat content goes from four percent that had the raw corn to between 19 and 27 percent when consumed after passing it through the microwave.

5. Energy drinks.

Although not wanting to lose weight, energy drinks are harmful to your health. Either "normal" or light versions, energy drinks are a bad choice if we want to take care of our diet. They have a lot of sugar, which is not healthy and is not a food that can be consumed daily. In addition, energy drinks raise heart rate and blood pressure and are a time bomb for people with cardiovascular problems.
