Many of you reach out to me asking if I can help find you rentals because you are relocating to Colorado Springs and want to rent first while we look for homes to buy; or you need a rental while your new construction home is being built. In this video I go over what I think you should know about the rental market here in town, and what recommendations I suggest you use for finding the best apartment or single-family home to rent.

I’m looking to move with 1 dog (under 25 lbs) and 3 cats from St. Louis, Missouri. Affordable, pet-inclusive/friendly housing seem scarce, but I’ve contacted a few management companies (The Vue @ Chapel Hill) and feeling hopeful!

Thank YOU for doing these Colorado Springs (COS) videos! I used to live there (twice) and hope to go back, but not until maybe late 2025 or VERY early 2026, for 2 major reasons:
1. Waiting (am in West TX now, "just" left COS October 2022) for housing (in my case, new or newer town-homes vs. single-family/detached homes: Out of my budget) prices to go down a bit to approach "reasonable (whatever that is)...meaning, housing prices not artificially inflated/over-priced as they are now.
2. Also waiting for mortgage interest rates come down BIG-time as I don't want to be over-paying THERE. either (the monthly HOA fee is enough of an added expense, thank you).
BOTH of those could put me underwater (equity-wise) in a house right up front -- no thanks!
So presently then, I'm following some of "you guys/gals" who are real estate agents/brokers there in COS (doing videos on YouTube) -- am making up a Short List of agents -- as time goes by so I can see what's going on there (besides continuing my research on RealtorCom as I check house prices in the areas of COS I'm interested in).
So, although I won't waste your time here & now -- as I can't get with a COS real estate agent/broker (or mortgage broker) NOW, not actually living there -- I just wanted to say thanks for all your videos (have seen quite a few of them earlier)...and when/if (?) -- I HOPE so -- I return to COS will be looking for an agent to work with.
Regards,
-- BR
