Finally watched the movie, BUT I NEED MORE, I want a post movie season or mini season of them getting to know each other again, settling down, Hodgins and Gilbert properly catching up. I just need MORE, it was too short

It’d be nice to see that once both of them calmed down, they can start to laugh about how things have been for them these past few days. To see Violet pull Gilbert out deeper in the ocean to where it’s up to their waist, and just push him down playfully.
Maybe see them both laughing and splashing at each other out of joy, until the sun comes up.
(I know that might not be the tone of this series, but, I digress)

In the movie theatre the whole room was crying. I bought all of the series + extras and movies since it's a masterpiece. I want to watch this again and again until the day I die. Because of the Letter song I started playing Piano again so I can play it.. so beautiful..

This whole scene my heart was beating so fast I can't even tell..plus the bgm made this scene even more beautiful..Ever since I heard this bgm in the trailer I was hyped up about this song and it was played at the best timing in the movie so so beautiful..violet would've said I love u major too if she wasn't crying 😭😭omg ..her lips were trembling so much it felt like I was watching real PPL plus also when she was crying her crying was so real ..hats off to the Japanese voice actors 🎉🙏..plus the best character development award goes to violet ..the girl who didn't knew the meaning of love to this woman who jumped in the ocean to get to her love ❤️😭

I love that the final letter Violet writes is expressing herself to someone important to her.

Through out this story she's been trying to express other peoples emotions to those they care about. Even though she had a hard time understanding emotions herself and really had to learn about them along the way. So its appropriate that after so much growth that in her final letter she express her own emotions to someon she's cares about. In a way all the other writing projects she took on were preparing her for this final challenge. She's able to tell the man she loves (now fully understanding what love is), whose been traumatized by the war what he needed to hear. It comes from her heart, expresses both compassion and gratitude towards him all while showing that she's willing to let him go and walk away. All of which would've been impossible for her to express in the beginning of the story and she might not have been able to let go of him back then because of her attachment.

Yet what she said is what was needed to get the major to realize what he was doing. He had already lost so much in the war but now he was about to loose something else. He was letting his pain and guilt perventing him from moving on and living his life to the fullest. Reading Violet letter gets him to realize how much he's missed her and how foolish he was being becacuse he he was about to let het dissappear. He finally start to fight off the pain left behind from the war before Violet walked out of his life forever.

Not only dose this result in Violet being reunited with the man she loves but it shows how far she has come. Her first attempt to write a love letter was for a client. The client wanted Violet to get the reader to chase her. But since Violet didn't understand social cues, deeper meanings behind words and the complexity of human emotions she faild in that project. But in her final love letter she's able to the get the reader to chase the girl (herself). Showing how much she has improved.
