The Avs might want to consider keeping Annunen in net for the playoffs

Great job on that recap y'all. I loved that you let it roll during that big action section.

Jeez skinner, four goals on six shots 🙄. However they were deadly shots and deflections

I don't understand the oilers D. Stand around and never pressure the puck carrier. Ya it's a tough schedule, but they are VERY well paid to make an intense, professional effort.

Hope Oilers can turn it up for the playoffs. Last week was a hard watch.

I'll never understand what Holland was smoking when he signed Nurse to that ridiculous contract. Like taking the man is just a foreign concept to him. I would have let him walk and signed two stay at home D for his price.

Let's be real on two things. First, this game meant nothing to the Oilers. Second, the Oilers players on the ice are still professionals and want to win, they aren't going to not try, mainly not do anything to get injured.

Would have liked to have heard Erne’s name, Gagne’s, Brown, Carrick. Not noticeable at all out there tonight. Glad they didn’t leave Stu in for the whole game. Broberg looked really good for both games. Amazing to see and to know he will be on the roster next year!

Skinner : 5 shots, 3 goals ; 6 shots, 4 goals. Again a really poor performance. Just let the guy go, this is nonsense

Not an Oil fan, but making the playoffs with a minor league tending tandem is commendable.

Oilers only lost this last game because they didn’t care. Now that the playoffs have come, Oilers are looking great.

First six shots on Skinner and four of them are goals. If they plan on using him in the playoffs, the Oilers are going to get burned in the first round. He has no poise, never challenges and all you need to do is look at him and down he goes. I really don't know why Edmonton chose to go for more offense before the trade deadline. No goalie = No chance.
