I've never seen that many hugs and pats in a post-series handshake. That's what makes NHL hockey so special.

McDavid calling out the play on that third goal. The man's a hockey genius. Picking out holes in the defense with 3 seconds left on a powerplay, in a playoff elimination game, like it's a leisurely sunday afternoon walk in the park.

McDavid and Draisaitl are behind only WAYNE GRETZKY and MARIO LEMIEUX in Playoffs PPG average... simply INCREDIBLE Duo!! 🔥

Knoblauch / Coffey have brought so much calmness to this group. The difference between this series and the 2022 / 2023 series is that the Oilers look in control at all times. There's now an intrinsic trust in their game and the process. Critical for playoff hockey.

Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are the best duo

This Oilers team is probably Canada's best Stanley Cup threat in the last 10 years. If their depth can contribute, and their top lines play like this, they have a real shot

Fun fact: Oilers won game 7 the 1st time, game 6 the 2nd and game 5 the 3rd time.. y'all see a pattern here 👀

That Edmonton power play though. They're like poetry. They move around and flow like they should be accompanied by music. Errr...sorry about that. Fighting. Blood. Big hits.

I mean if there's any positives for the Kings to take away, they technically killed those 2 penalties...

Series Summary:

1. LA put up a valiant effort, but took too many penalties trying to stop the Oilers stars (yes a few were weak calls)

2. Oilers finally have playoff worthy goaling and defense that can shutdown games with a lead.

3. P-L Dubois was invisible and seems to be sinking every ship he sails on.

the oilers are virtually unstoppable on the power play...

I think it's safe to say do NOT let Edmonton get on the power play. They are lethal.

Edmonton just owns LA. Simple as that. Draisaitl and Bouchard played great and the Oilers will await the winner of the Canucks-Predators series.

Lets hope the Canucks can win on Friday to set up an all Canadian matchup guaranteeing a Canadian team in the final four.

my old teammate from childhood mcdavid is insane lol! we were little kids playing and i'd want to be one of the top guys on the team so he was someone to compete with, i remember thinking jesus christ i gotta keep up with this guy, he was always so fast and good at hockey since 5-6 years old. i remember thinking about how if i can't be the best on the team i'd never make it cause there's way better players out there, never thought he'd be one of the greatest ever lol. at 6 years old i watched on the bench him on a breakaway and shoot it over the net (i couldnt raise the puck) and then he wrapped around his own shot before anyone caught up. we'd play in tournaments a year up and mcdavid was already playing a year up himself

I know it's unlikely, but imagine R2 EDM vs. NSH. Leon would destroy the preds 😂

I can't stand when people whine that teams score a lot on PP. If their team was as successful they don't complain at all. It's part of the game stop bitching already.
