Folding mirrors from the factory (you can fold them inside while riding offroad - save if crashed). Same for Gear switch. For many adventure bikes you have to buy it as aftermarket accessories.

FYI... CST is an abbreviation for Cheng Shin Tire, part of the Taiwanese brand Cheng Shin Rubber Industry Co. - the same company that also makes Maxxis tyres. They've been around since the late 1960s.

Nothing wrong with CST the tyres tend to be of a harder wearing ( less grippy) compound but often people compare the budget cst tyres that come with bikes with after market premium tyres.

Check out their premium tyres.

I use CST exclusively on my e bikes.

Just revisited your 2024 review of the Himalayan and given the choice.... I'd go RE. I quite like the looks of this one but, like others I suppose, I'm concerned about what a couple of British winters is going to do to it. With the RE you're buying into the brand. Can't quite say the same thing about this. A quick googlesearch shows prices similar...

We are witnessing the rise of the Chinese manufacturers the bikes are getting better and better but the price is staying affordable for most, they will likely take over the market as the Japanese did in the 70’s

Looks nice, be interested to see how those get maintained during long-term possession.
More and more choice in the lighter adv market. A market I intend to get into perhaps in a year or so so I'll be happy to evaluate a lot of bikes at that point.
Not sure how I would feel about a first year bike (from any manufacturer) if I were in the market right now.

Interesting to see how it performs on UK motorways for like 2 hours to get somewhere more testing. Ideal enviroment to test the strengths of the bike. Guess thats why they gave you the kind of roads they did on the launch.

The Bersys x300 is 8600 USD in Costa Rica, this bike is almost 10.000 USD, brands love to play with offer and demand, they love to F us real bad. Still, this is a way better option than anything on its class for off road, only the NX500 is better on road for a similar price, about 10.500 USD.

If this was my very first 'big boys' bike I would be very tempted to buy it. It looks great IMO. The proof in the pudding for all these CF Moto's is longevity. Will they rust like old Chinese bikes? I think the fact that KTM are in charge of their quality control tells me that CF Moto are going to be the KIa of the motorcycle world and will shake up the market 👍
