I'll get a new vehicle when the car dealers pay me to take one off their hands. In the meantime I will keep my 8 year old Chevy suv and put that money in the bank.

What killed the financial markets and economy back in 2007-09 was the sub-prime home lenders - contracts would give home buyers making $50K a year a $500K house with lowered payments for the first 2 to 5 years - then POW - a balloon payment with subsequent payments in-line for a $500K house. Foolishness. People couldn't make the payments and foreclosed.

The reason why lots are full of new 2023s still is not because auto makers didn’t do their due diligence it’s because interest rates are to high and so are prices

What really angers me is these automakers and dealerships rampantly raising the MSRP / costs of new ICE vehicles to dissuade buyers to buy them - and look at EV's instead. Plain trickery.

Not in my area and also egg prices not that high but I do know one thing the car dealers are charging $4, 000 on top of the total price of the car
