"$80 thousand... I can't take a 22 thousand dollar loss on it"... next month it will be $75k and you'll take a 27k loss

It is hilarious how Tesla owners treat their vehicles like investments.

Kind of refreshing to see a used car salesman get bent over on a car deal. You are asking for full boat retail at an auction.

Geez I remember when vehicles were not investments and we loved what we bought and kept them for a decade. Keeping up with the Jones has gone to a whole new level

This dude is a material guy! He wants to buy everything, and that's how he's losing money selling his everything for anything.

He'll never see that $86K bid again. That was a great offer. When Tesla decided to open up non founder series CTs without a wait for $20K less, all founders series CTs instantly lost $20K plus whatever additional depreciation they had from time and use. My best advise is DON'T SELL IT. If you decided to buy it new in the first place, you should have committed to driving it until it's used up.

Only a idiot would have spent over a 100 grand for that ridiculous looking thing

Apparently people are not even picking up their Tesla cyber trucks. They would rather forfeit the down payment than have a huge debt for a quickly deprecating truck.

Why sell it? Since you love it so much just drive your money out of it. I've been doing that for 55 years.

It's so funny how people thought they would MAKE money on cybertrucks. Like, you know it's still a car, right? And EVs have never held value.

Put it on Turo in Vegas, you’ll be able to get rid of it 😂

There is no mechanism by which an electric car increases in value. It is 'tech'. An iphone with wheels. And tech ONLY depreciates. Not sure why this is a surprise to anyone.

I know two people with a CyberTtuck. Both say they deeply regret the decision.

Dealers selling cars to each other. Nobody else is buying

Why would anybody pay for "Autopilot" when you have to sit behing the wheel to make sure the car does what it's supposed to do and doesn't get you in an accident! That is so dumb.

"Did you make it yourself?" Is legitimately funny lol

The auction offered $80k which is what a new Cybertruck sells for. You expect an offer for $20k over the current price for a new CT? Better sell now before Tesla lowers the price again.
