Still hard to believe how NASTY those seats were!! 🤮

When you were cleaning the seats, my hubby asked me ‘what’s wrong?’, in a worried tone! I guess I was pulling faces at how vile they were 🤣🤣 I started from the beginning and we watched together. He was pulling faces as well! For the shape that car was in, you did an absolute phenomenal job. My hubby said what I was thinking in the beginning, ‘throw a lit match in. Insta clean!’ We laughed. Have a fab weekend!

I wonder how many people go to these auto auctions, buy something cheap but disgusting and think, ‘I’ll just take it to The Detail Geek, he can clean anything’! Seriously, another amazing bit of magic worked today, great job! Happy New Year everyone!

I'll be honest. In the UK that car even cleaned would fail inspection (we call it an MOT) The outer sills (rocker panels) are rotten and that's structural. That would all need welding up. Over here that would almost certainly condemn the car as beyond economical repair. A shame as after a good clean it came up quite well.

Every time I think I’ve ruined my car. I watch your videos and know that somebody out there could save her, even though I’ve caused her some damage. Inside and out. Thank you for inspiring me with new ideas to keep my car clean and to help others keep their car clean.

This what what my old car was!!! It’s so exciting to see cars that were like mine. It was a childhood car when my brother and I were little so there were stains and my parents decided to go get it detailed. Well they went and the next day there were wet marks and brown spots all over the seats from the water and solution they used i’m assuming. I gave my cousin the car, so came to this video to figure out how we could get those stains out from the seats! Thank you Mitch!!

Love this video because I bought a nasty Cobalt a few years back. I started watching your channel during COVID and I thought they were just awesome to watch. I bought a cheap 2006 Cobalt in late 2021. The owner's daughter didn't need the car after buying a new one so he left it parked under a tree for nearly a year where it experienced all four seasons in New England. When you pulled out the gunk and leaves from the trunk jambs, I definitely felt that. There were leaves, gunk, spilled questionable liquids, I think a squirrel's acorn stash, and just all kinds of dirt everywhere including in the spare tire wheel well. Having been inspired by many of your videos, I was confident I could at least get the bulk of dirt out and the smell. I felt like I did hundreds of passes of the extractor on the seats. I had to even remove the cabin air filter because there was so much gunk and leaves in there. I did end up replacing the headlight housings because of the moisture and build up. I used many of your tips and tricks and it paid off and I thought it looked close to brand new. I had many friends and family ride in my car and comment "wow, this old car is in really good condition." Thanks for the inspiration and keep making awesome videos!

Amazing transform, Mitch! Most people would take one look at that sad vehicle and rule it hopeless…but your TLC and lots of hard work brought it back to life fully refreshed for a new owner to love. Great work!!!

Another good one! I can't believe it turned out so well considering. One thing I learned from my Dad when washing the car is when you dump the bucket leave a little water in it and do a swirl cyclone by doing a cicular motion to get all the dirt out of it. I can't help but want to do that with the disgusting buckets you have! Would be enjoyable.

Happy New Year Mitch!!!! That really was 11 hours of hard intensive work on this old chevy. I never imagined the interior could look so good again. I am not sure why I think you won't be able to do it. I see these miracles time after time reproving your skills and talent. The river of brown water from the seatbelt cleaning alone made me queasy. Now this car will be a clean usable commuter that the new owner can use without getting sick from the interior. Way to go! I was late getting here today, since I started with the new Yard Geek video which was awesome. Thanks for providing such quality entertainment and educational content. Have a great weekend!! ❤

I like to do seat belts analogously to carpets. Working from top to bottom, they are the second thing when I do an interior. I do them right after the headliner but before everything else. Hold them out with spring clamps, spray with P&S Carpet Bomber and brush, extract by sandwiching the seatbelt between the extractor wand and a block of scrap wood wrapped in a microfiber. Then I leaved them clamped out to dry while continuing with the interior. Works great.

I enjoy the videos that you do on older cars. Many people seem to think that because it's an old car, or maybe not in the best physical condition, why bother keeping it clean. I disagree with that viewpoint, and I say ALWAY keep your car (and your home) clean and tidy, regardless of the age or condition. Take good care of your stuff!

One trick I've learned on this seat fabric with these kind of stain that are very stubborn. Is using a combo of simple green and 3M adhesive remover. I know sounds like an odd combination. But works pretty good. Obviously you wanna use them in separate steps.

Great job! My favorite part is watching the exterior get cleaned up. You did a fantastic job cleaning the interior!

Great Job. It is amazing an older economy car treated roughly cleans up this well. Seats, carpet and interior plastic look great other than a few stains. I bet the auction house did an exterior wash on the car but that it was never taken care of either. I'd like an under hood clean but eleven hours was a lot of work. Thank you.

I have seen a lot of your videos and I swear your work amazes me. If I ever go to Saskatchewan, I will stop by there and get my vehicle detailed by you. I will say, I made that dirt there on purpose just to get my vehicle featured. Great Job!
