You did it right, reputation, integrity, i an hvac contractor in md, last year, new years eve, i got a no heat call, from a customer neighbor asking me if i had a circuit board for a ggodman g/f, i did, i asked her how she knows its a bad circuit board she told me, gas and electric co came by, told her, she will have to wait 3 days until, stores open, they quoted her 1700$, i visited the customer, before i replaced the board i found a low volts fuse blown, replaced the fuse, sat there for 45 minutes checking everything else, house warmed up good, charges 150$ an hour, total 300$ she handed me a stack of 20$ s counted, it was 500$ i asked her did you make a mistake counting?she told me no and wished a happy new year, i felt great, thanks for sharing your experiences,

I worked maintenance for years. My company required me to get multiple bids. I always made sure my preferred guy was one of the ones I called because I knew he did good work at a good price.
